Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nara Park, exit the park and head towards the Nara National Museum. Once you reach the museum, continue straight onto the main road (Route 369). After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach a major intersection. Turn right onto Higashimuki Nakamachi Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find Higashimuki Shopping Street on your left.

    From Nara Station, exit the station and head south towards the main road. Turn left onto Route 369 (also called Sanjo Dori). Walk straight for about 1 kilometer (approximately 12-15 minutes). You will pass by several shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection, turn right onto Higashimuki Nakamachi Street. Keep walking straight, and you will see Higashimuki Shopping Street on your left.

    If you are near Todai-ji Temple, exit the temple area and head towards Nara Park's main exit. Once you are out of the park, take a left and walk towards the main road (Route 369).
