If you're driving from central Nikko, head south on Route 119. Follow the signs for Utsunomiya and then take Route 4 towards Mashiko. Continue on Route 4 for about 30 minutes until you reach the town of Mashiko. Once in Mashiko, look for Hanawa Street; Tonoike Sake Brewery is located at 333番地1 Hanawa, easily identifiable by its traditional brewery architecture.

Take a train from Nikko Station to Utsunomiya Station. From Utsunomiya Station, transfer to a local train on the JR Utsunomiya Line towards Oyama. Get off at Mashiko Station. Once you arrive at Mashiko Station, you can either take a taxi directly to Tonoike Sake Brewery at 333番地1 Hanawa, which is approximately a 10-minute ride, or if you prefer to walk, head south on Route 4, and then turn left onto Hanawa Street. The brewery will be on your right.
