Getting There

  • Train

    Start your journey at Shibuya Station. Take the Keio Inokashira Line towards Kichijoji. Get off at the second stop, which is Shimo-kitazawa Station. From Shimo-kitazawa Station, exit via the south exit. Once outside, walk straight for about 10 minutes, heading towards Kitakarasuyama. You will pass through a residential area. Keep an eye out for the street signs that lead to Eiryū-ji.

  • Train

    Alternatively, from Shinjuku Station, take the Odakyu Line (Express) towards Odawara. Get off at the third stop, which is Kamiyama-cho Station. Exit the station and turn left. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Eiryū-ji, located at 4 Chome-17-1 Kitakarasuyama, Setagaya City.

  • Bus

    From Shibuya Station, take the Tokyu Bus (bound for Kitakarasuyama). Get off at the Kitakarasuyama bus stop. Once you get off, Eiryū-ji is a short 5-minute walk away. Head north on the main road, and you will see the temple on your right.
