Getting There

  • Train

    Start at Shinjuku Station, a major hub in Tokyo. Take the Odakyu Line (Express) towards Odawara and get off at the next stop, which is Shimokitazawa Station. From Shimokitazawa Station, transfer to the Keio Inokashira Line. Board the train towards Kichijoji and get off at the next stop, which is Kitakarasuyama Station. Once you exit the station, head south on Kamiyama-cho Street for about 5 minutes. Tamon-in will be on your left at 4 Chome-12-1 Kitakarasuyama.

    From Shibuya Station, take the Keio Bus bound for Setagaya. The bus stop is located at the east exit of Shibuya Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Kitakarasuyama' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk north along Kitakarasuyama Street until you reach Tamon-in at 4 Chome-12-1 Kitakarasuyama.
