Getting There

Train
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yokosuka Line towards Zushi. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Get off at Kamakura Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the East Exit. Once you are out of the station, turn right and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Komachi Street.

At the intersection with Komachi Street, turn left onto Komachi Street. This street is famous for its shops and cafes. Continue walking down Komachi Street for about 15 minutes until you reach the end of the street, where you will find a large intersection.

At the end of Komachi Street, cross the intersection and head straight towards the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Keep walking straight for another 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of the shrine.

Once at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, you will see a path leading to the shrine itself. Follow the path and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. After visiting the shrine, exit through the main gate and continue walking straight along the road until you reach the bus stop.

At the bus stop near Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, take the Kanagawa Ken Kotsu bus heading towards Ogigayatsu. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Ogigayatsu stop.

After getting off the bus at Ogigayatsu, walk straight along the road for about 5 minutes. You will see a small path leading to the Grave of Hōjō Masako on your right. Follow this path to reach the grave.
