From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line towards Ikebukuro. Transfer at Otemachi Station (4 stops). At Otemachi Station, use Exit C1 which will lead you towards the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Once you exit, walk straight for about 10 minutes towards the East Gardens. You will find Ōte-mon Gate at the entrance to the gardens.
