Start your journey at any major station in Tokyo, such as Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station. Take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Takao. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Disembark at Ome Station.

From Ome Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop outside. Take the 'Mitake Tozan Railway' bus (you can check the bus timetable at the station) that goes directly to the Takimoto cable car Station. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Takimoto cable car Station stop.

Once you arrive at Takimoto cable car Station, you will see signs directing you to the cable car entrance. The station is located at 2 Chome-483 Mitake, Ome, Tokyo 198-0174. The cable car will take you up to Mt. Mitake, where you can enjoy beautiful views and hiking opportunities.
