Car
If you are driving, start by navigating to Hitachi City Center. From there, take Route 6 heading south toward Tokyo. After approximately 50 kilometers, merge onto the Joban Expressway (E6) toward Ibaraki. Continue on the expressway for about 30 kilometers and then take the exit toward Tsukuba/Hitachi. Follow the signs to merge onto Route 6. Keep driving for about 60 kilometers until you reach the Tokyo area. Once in Tokyo, follow the signs to the Taito City area. Asakusa Shrine is located at 2 Chome-3-1 Asakusa, Tokyo 111-0032. Parking options may be available nearby, but expect to pay around 500-1000 yen per hour for public parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Asakusa Shrine using public transportation, start by going to Hitachi Station. From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line towards Toride for about 20 minutes and then transfer at Toride Station to the Tsukuba Express Line. Board the train heading towards Akihabara and ride for about 30 minutes until you reach Asakusa Station. Upon exiting Asakusa Station, follow the signs for the Asakusa Shrine, which is approximately a 10-minute walk (about 800 meters). Be prepared to pay around 550 yen for the train fare.
