Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Hitachi, head towards Route 6 and take it southbound. Continue on Route 6 until you reach the junction with Route 50. Merge onto Route 50 and continue towards Tokyo. Keep following the signs for Tokyo. Once you reach central Tokyo, follow signs for Ueno/Taito. Use a GPS navigation system or a map app to guide you, as traffic can be heavy. • Train

  To reach Cat Cafe Asakusa Neko-en by train, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. It usually takes about 1 hour to reach Ueno Station. Once at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Asakusa Station. The journey takes about 10 minutes. After arriving at Asakusa Station, take exit A1, and walk approximately 10 minutes to the café. Follow the signs to Hanakawado, and you will find the café located on the 3rd floor of the Ikeda Building.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Board the Hitachi-Tokyo Express Bus from Hitachi Bus Terminal. The journey to Tokyo Station takes about 2 hours.
