From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yokosuka Line towards Zushi. The journey will take about 60 minutes. Get off at Kamakura Station. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. You'll find a bus stop and a taxi stand immediately outside.

From Kamakura Station East Exit, you can take a local bus (Kamakura City Community Bus) that heads towards Hase or Komachi Street. Get off at the 'Komachi' bus stop, which is a short ride away. From the bus stop, walk towards 3 Chome Komachi. Hokai-ji will be on your left side, approximately a 5-minute walk.

If you prefer to walk from Kamakura Station, exit the station and turn left. Follow the main road (Komachi-dori) for about 15 minutes. You'll pass various shops and restaurants along the way. Continue walking straight until you reach Hokai-ji at 3 Chome-5-22 Komachi, which will be on your left.
