Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from Yakushima Airport or the main town area. Head south on Route 77 (Yakushima Main Road) towards Anbo. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 112 towards Kurio. Follow Route 112 for approximately 8 kilometers, where you will find signs directing you to Ohko Waterfall. The parking area is located just off the road, and from there, a short walk (about 10 minutes) will lead you to the waterfall.

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Yakushima town center or Anbo to the Kurio bus stop. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes.
