Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Yamanashi, take the Chuo Expressway towards Tokyo. Exit at the Hachioji Junction and merge onto the Ken-o Expressway. Follow the signs towards Okutama. Continue on Route 411 until you reach Lake Oku-tama. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.     From Yamanashi, take a train to Otsuki Station via the JR Chuo Line. Once at Otsuki Station, transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express to Takao Station.
