Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Yamanashi City. Take Route 20 heading towards Kofu, and then merge onto the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) towards Tokyo. Exit at the Hinohara IC (日の原インターチェンジ) and follow the signs towards Hinohara. Drive for about 30 minutes until you reach Kazuma-no-yu located at 数馬2430, Hinohara. Parking is available on-site, but please note that there may be a fee.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kazuma-no-yu using public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line from Kofu Station. Get off at Takao Station and transfer to the Keio Takao Line. Ride until you reach the Hinohara Station (日の原駅). From Hinohara Station, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus towards Kazuma-no-yu, which is about a 15-minute ride away. The taxi fare may cost around 2,000 to 3,000 yen, depending on traffic.

    If you prefer to take a bus, from Kofu Station, board the Yamanashi Kotsu Bus bound for Hinohara. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and you will get off at the 数馬 bus stop. From there, Kazuma-no-yu is just a 10-minute walk. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited.
