Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Zao Onsen. Head east on Prefectural Route 25 towards Kawamachi. After approximately 3 kilometers, follow the signs for Yunohana Chaya Shinzaemon no Yu. You will see the entrance to the onsen on your right-hand side. Parking is available on-site but may incur a small fee.

  • Public Transportation

    From Zao Onsen Station, take the local bus heading towards Zao Onsen. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Yunohana Chaya' stop, which is the closest stop to Yunohana Chaya Shinzaemon no Yu. From the bus stop, walk approximately 300 meters west along the road, and you will find the onsen on your right.
