From the Shigonoyachi Marsh, the Yokokura Falls are a short walk away. Follow the signs for Yokokura Falls, and you'll find a walking path that leads you to the waterfall. The path is relatively easy and takes you through the forest alongside the stream.

From Yamagata Station, take a bus to Zao Onsen Bus Terminal. From there, you can take a local bus or taxi towards Shigonoyachi Marsh. From Shigonoyachi Marsh, follow the walking directions to Yokokura Falls. Bus fare from Yamagata Station to Zao Onsen Bus Terminal is approximately ¥1000. The local bus or taxi from the terminal to the Marsh will cost an additional ¥300-¥800.
