If you are staying in Zao Onsen, the Dairotenburo is within walking distance. From the Zao Onsen bus terminal, head northeast on Zaoonsen street. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, following the signs for Dairotenburo. You will pass by several ryokans and shops along the way.

If you are coming from Yamagata City, take a bus from Yamagata Station to Zao Onsen. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes and costs around 1,000 yen. Upon arrival at the Zao Onsen bus terminal, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Dairotenburo.

If you are driving, take the Yamagata Expressway and exit at the Zao Onsen IC. Follow the signs toward Zao Onsen, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the expressway exit. Once you are in Zao Onsen, you can find parking near the Dairotenburo. Be aware that some parking areas may charge a fee, typically around 500 yen.
