Follow the signs for 'Shitayu Public Bathhouse' or ask locals for directions. The bathhouse is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Yamagata Station to Zao Onsen. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes, and the fare will be around 6,000 to 8,000 yen. Once you reach Zao Onsen, you can ask the driver to drop you off at Shitayu Public Bathhouse directly.

If you are already in Zao Onsen, you can reach Shitayu Public Bathhouse on foot. From the Zao Onsen bus stop, walk down the main road (Zao Onsen Street) towards the east for about 800 meters. The bathhouse is located at 30-2 Zaoonsen, Yamagata, 990-2301. It will be on your left side. The walk should take around 10 minutes.
