If you are driving, head towards Zao Onsen via National Route 286. Once you reach the Zao Onsen area, look for signs directing you to the Zao Onsen Tourist Association Information Center. There is parking available nearby. The center is located at 708-1 Zaoonsen, Yamagata, 990-2301.

For those using public transportation, take the Yamagata Shinkansen to Yamagata Station. From Yamagata Station, board a bus bound for Zao Onsen. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes.
