The park is located at approximately latitude 37.1989 and longitude -86.1156. From the town of Bardstown, take US-31E N for about 30 miles until you reach I-65 N. Merge onto I-65 N and continue for about 19 miles. Take exit 53 for KY-70 W toward Mammoth Cave. Follow KY-70 W for approximately 6 miles, and you will arrive at the park entrance. Keep in mind that parking fees may apply, so check the park's website for the latest information.

Once in a major city, take a Greyhound or similar bus service to Cave City, KY, which is the closest town to Mammoth Cave National Park.
