Walking
From the Kisumu CBD, head west on Oginga Odinga Street towards the Kisumu Central Market. Walk about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Harambee Road. Turn left onto Harambee Road and continue walking for roughly 1 kilometer. You will see the entrance to KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary on your right, just past Shauri Moyo Primary School.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Kisumu CBD. Start at the Kisumu Central Market and head west on Oginga Odinga Street for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Harambee Road and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Look for the entrance to KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary on your right. Remember to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
For a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi, known locally as 'boda boda'. Find a boda boda stand in Kisumu CBD, and tell the rider you want to go to KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary. The ride should take about 10 minutes and cost approximately 100-200 Kenyan Shillings, depending on your negotiation skills.

Public Bus (Matatu)
You can also take a matatu (shared minibus) from Kisumu CBD. Head to the main matatu stage located at the Kisumu Central Market. Look for a matatu heading towards the Kisumu bypass or Jaaga. Inform the conductor to drop you off at the nearest point to the KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary. The fare is usually around 30-50 Kenyan Shillings. From the drop-off point, it will be a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the sanctuary.
