From Kondele, make your way to the main road (Harambee Road). Head south along the road, passing by local shops and eateries. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. You will eventually reach Shauri Moyo Primary School, which is located on your left side. The entrance to KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary is adjacent to the school. Look for the signage indicating the sanctuary.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a boda boda from any point in Kondele. Simply tell the rider you want to go to KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary near Shauri Moyo Primary School on Harambee Road. The ride typically takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic, and should cost around 100-200 KES. Always negotiate the fare beforehand.
Public Matatu (Minibus)
To reach KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary via matatu, find a matatu heading towards Kisumu town. Alight at the stop near Shauri Moyo Primary School. This should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk towards the school, and the sanctuary entrance will be next to it. The matatu fare is usually around 30-50 KES.
