If you're driving, start from Vang Vieng town center. Head southeast on Route 13 for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Blue Lagoon 1 on the right side of the road. Turn right onto a smaller road leading towards the lagoon and follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach Blue Lagoon 1. There is parking available near the entrance.

To reach Blue Lagoon 1 using public transport, find a tuk-tuk or a minibus from Vang Vieng town center. You can tell the driver you want to go to 'Blue Lagoon 1' or show them the address: 'W9GW+G5G, Naka.' The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to the lagoon, where you can enjoy the beautiful swimming area.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Vang Vieng to Blue Lagoon 1, head southeast on Route 13. After about 5 kilometers, look for the entrance to Blue Lagoon 1 on your right. It's a scenic walk, but be prepared for the heat and wear comfortable shoes. The total walking distance is about 6 kilometers, which should take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
