Getting There

Tuk-Tuk
From the center of Vang Vieng, head to the main road (Sengsavang Road). Look for a Tuk-Tuk station, which is usually located near the night market or the bus station. Once you find a Tuk-Tuk, inform the driver that you want to go to Blue Lagoon 1 and Phu Kham Cave. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to the lagoon.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from various shops in Vang Vieng. Start by heading southeast on the main road (Sengsavang Road) out of town. Continue cycling for about 7 km, following signs towards Blue Lagoon. You will eventually see signs directing you to Blue Lagoon 1. The road is generally flat and scenic, with beautiful views along the way.

For the adventurous, you can walk to Blue Lagoon 1. Start from the center of Vang Vieng and head south on Sengsavang Road. Continue walking until you reach the fork in the road, then take the right path towards the lagoon. This will be a longer trek of about 7 km, so ensure you are prepared with water and sun protection. The walk takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and you'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way.
