Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old City (Vecrīga), head towards the Freedom Monument located on Brīvības bulvāris. From there, walk down Kalpaka bulvāris until you reach Jēkaba iela. Turn right onto Jēkaba iela, and continue walking until you see St. Jacob’s Catholic Cathedral on your left at Jēkaba iela 9.

    If you are near the Central Market, take tram number 5 or 7 from the 'Centrāltirgus' stop. Ride for three stops and get off at 'Tērbatas iela' stop. From there, walk towards Jēkaba iela, which is a short 10-minute walk. Turn right onto Jēkaba iela, and you will find the cathedral at number 9.
