Eriskircher Ried: A Lakeside Nature Paradise

Eriskircher Ried, nestled on the northern shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee), is a sprawling 552-hectare (1365-acre) nature reserve, the largest of its kind on the German side of the lake. Streuwiesen (litter meadows), rivers, backwaters, alluvial forests, the shores of Lake Constance, and shallow water zones all contribute to a vibrant ecosystem.
