St. Gallen Cathedral is located in the heart of St. Gallen's Old Town, within the Abbey District. From the St. Gallen train station, walk north along Bahnhofstrasse, then turn left onto Marktgasse. Continue straight, crossing over Neugasse, which will turn into Multergasse. Turn right onto Schmiedgasse, then left onto Barfüssergasse. Turn right onto Spisergasse, then left onto Marktplatz. Continue straight onto Gallusstrasse, then turn right to Klosterhof. The cathedral will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. No costs are involved.

From St. Gallen train station, take bus line 1 towards St.Georgen or bus line 5 towards Rotmonten. Get off at the St. Gallen, Marktplatz bus stop, which is located in the city center. From the bus stop, walk north on Marktplatz, then turn right onto Gallusstrasse. Turn right to Klosterhof. The cathedral will be on your left. A single ticket within the city zone of St. Gallen (zone 210) costs CHF 2.30.
