    From Lindau Inselbahnhof (train station on the island), the main attractions are within a 10-15 minute walk. Exit the station and walk towards the harbor. The Bavarian Lion and lighthouse are immediately visible. The Old Town Hall is a short walk inland from the harbor along Maximilianstrasse.

    If arriving at Lindau-Reutin (mainland train station), take the city bus (lines 1 & 2) to the Inselbahnhof. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes. A single ticket costs around €2.90. Alternatively, take a taxi from Lindau-Reutin to the island for approximately €15-€20.

    Ferry

    Ferries connect Lindau to several towns on Lake Constance, including Bregenz (Austria) and Konstanz (Germany). From the ferry terminal in Lindau harbor, the main attractions are a short walk away. A ferry from Bregenz to Lindau costs approximately €7-€10 and takes about 22 minutes.
