From Friedrichshafen city center, take bus line 18 or 7586 towards the airport. The Dornier Museum is located a short walk from the Friedrichshafen Flughafen (Airport) bus stop. A single fare is approximately €2-3. Alternatively, take the Bodensee Oberschwaben Bahn (BOB) train to the Friedrichshafen Flughafen station, which is next to the museum. Train tickets range from €5-€9.
Car
From Friedrichshafen, follow the signs for the airport (Flughafen). The museum is located directly at the airport. Parking is available at the museum. The first 90 minutes are free for museum and restaurant visitors. After that, standard parking rates apply, with a daily maximum of €20.
Ferry and Train
From Konstanz, take the catamaran to Friedrichshafen. From the Friedrichshafen harbor, transfer to the Bodensee Oberschwaben Bahn (BOB) train to Friedrichshafen Flughafen (Airport). The museum is a short walk from the train station. A combined ticket for the catamaran and train is available. The catamaran ride is 52 minutes.
