With approximately 500 marionettes in its collection, each brought to life by a team of skilled puppeteers, the Marionettenoper provides an enchanting experience for audiences of all ages. Leismüller not only founded the opera but also designs the choreography and lovingly makes the marionettes and their costumes. The movements of the puppets are graceful, and the stage sets are colorful and detailed. A performance at the Lindauer Marionettenoper is more realistic than a live opera. Performances often sell out, so booking tickets in advance is recommended. The theater's repertoire includes famous works such as "The Magic Flute," "Carmen," and "Swan Lake".
