Walking
From Lindau's Inselbahnhof (main island train station), exit the station and walk straight ahead towards the harbor. The promenade begins at Alfred-Nobel-Platz, directly in front of you. The walk is short and offers immediate views of the lake. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
From the Lindau-Reutin train station on the mainland, take bus line 5 towards Lindau Insel (Island). Get off at the 'Lindau, Alfred-Nobel-Platz' stop. The Promenade is a short walk south from the bus stop. A single bus fare costs approximately €2-3. Thanks to the Echt-Bodensee-Card guest card, you can travel free of charge on the Lindau city bus all year round.

From anywhere in Lindau, a taxi to the Promenade (Alfred-Nobel-Platz 1) is a readily available option. Taxi stands are located at the Lindau-Reutin train station and other key points around Lindau. A short taxi ride from Lindau-Reutin to the promenade will cost approximately €12-18.
