    From Lindau's Inselbahnhof (main train station on the island), the harbor entrance is a short, easy walk. Exit the station and follow the signs towards the harbor (Hafen). The walk is mostly flat and takes about 5-10 minutes, offering views of the lake and surrounding architecture. No costs involved.

    If arriving at Lindau-Reutin station (on the mainland), take the city bus (Stadtbus) to the island. Several bus lines connect the mainland to Lindau Insel. A single ticket costs €2.90. The bus will drop you off near the Inselbahnhof, from where you can easily walk to the harbor. Alternatively, from Lindau (Blaukreuzstrasse) bus station, you can take a bus to Lindau for €1-€3.

    Taxis are readily available at both Lindau-Reutin train station and the Inselbahnhof. A taxi ride from Lindau-Reutin to the island center will cost approximately €15-€20, depending on traffic.
