    Getting There

    Walking

    From Lindau-Insel train station, exit and walk towards the harbor. The promenade starts near the harbor entrance, marked by the iconic Bavarian Lion statue and lighthouse. The walk is approximately 5 minutes and is free.

    Public Transport

    From Lindau's mainland, take a city bus (Line 1 or 2) to the Insel (Island). Get off at a stop near the harbor, such as 'Lindau, Alfred-Nobel-Platz'. The Promenade is a short walk from the bus stop. A single ticket costs €2.90. With the Echt Bodensee Card, the ride is free.

    Parking

    If driving, be aware that parking on Lindau Island is limited and mostly reserved for residents. Consider parking in P1 Blauwiese or P2 Ehemaliger Bauhof on the mainland and taking the city bus to the island. Parking at P1 and P2 costs €1.80 per hour. The city bus to the island is free with the Echt Bodensee Card.
