From Livingstonia, head south on the main road (M1). Keep an eye out for signs leading to Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve. After about 30 km, you will reach the junction at Mzimba. Turn right onto the M9 road. Continue straight for approximately 10 km until you see the entrance to Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve on your left. Be aware that the road may have some potholes, so drive carefully.

Public Transportation
To reach Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve from Livingstonia using public transport, take a minibus from the main taxi rank in Livingstonia heading towards Mzimba. The fare should be around MK 1,500. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the junction of M1 and M9. From there, you may need to hire a local taxi or walk the remaining 10 km to the reserve entrance, which may cost around MK 10,000 for a taxi.
