Car
From Liwonde National Park, head north on the M10 highway towards Mzuzu. Continue on the M10 for approximately 200 kilometers until you reach the town of Mzuzu. From Mzuzu, follow signs towards Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve. The reserve is located approximately 60 kilometers north of Mzuzu. You can drive directly to the entrance of the reserve where you can park your car and begin exploring.

Public Transportation
From Liwonde National Park, you can take a minibus or bus to Mzuzu. The minibus station is located in the town center. Once in Mzuzu, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus towards Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve. The reserve is approximately 60 kilometers north of Mzuzu. The bus or taxi will drop you off at the entrance of the reserve where you can start your wildlife adventure.
