The entrance to Lengwe National Park will be on your right after about 10 kilometers. Ensure you have cash for the entrance fee, which is around 10,000 MWK for foreign visitors.

    To reach Lengwe National Park using public transportation, take a minibus from your location in the Shire Valley to Chikwawa. Minibuses are available frequently and the fare should be around 1,500 MWK. Once you arrive in Chikwawa, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to the park entrance. The taxi fare for this final leg should be approximately 5,000 MWK. Make sure to negotiate the price with the taxi driver before starting your journey.
