Car
Starting from Blantyre, head north on the M1 road towards Lilongwe. After approximately 50 km, take the turnoff onto the M5 road towards Mulanje. Continue on the M5 until you reach the junction for the M1 again, then turn right to continue towards Mzuzu. Keep driving for about 150 km. As you approach Mzuzu, follow signs for the M1 heading north. Once in Mzuzu, follow the signs towards Nyika National Park, which is approximately 60 km from Mzuzu. The entrance to the park is near Chelinda. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some stretches of the road can be rough.

Public Transportation
From Blantyre, take a minibus to Mzuzu, which typically takes about 4-5 hours. Minibuses leave from the main bus station and you should confirm the fare before boarding, which can range from 1,500 to 2,500 MWK. Once in Mzuzu, you can hire a taxi or find local transport that can take you to the Nyika National Park entrance in Chelinda. The taxi fare from Mzuzu to Nyika can vary, but expect to pay around 15,000 to 20,000 MWK. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
