If you are traveling by car, start from the East Coast region, like Kuala Terengganu or Kuantan. Get onto the East Coast Highway (E8) and head towards the direction of Kuala Lumpur. After approximately 200 km, exit onto the North-South Expressway (E1) towards the north. Continue on the E1 until you reach the exit for Ranau (Exit 207). Follow the signs to Ranau town. Once in Ranau, look for signs directing you to Kinabalu GeoPark. The park is located at latitude 6.207340, longitude 116.640898.

For those using public transportation, begin by taking a bus from your location in East Coast to Kota Kinabalu. Buses frequently depart from major towns like Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan. Once you arrive at the Kota Kinabalu bus terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Ranau. The journey may take around 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Ranau, you can take a taxi or arrange for a ride to Kinabalu GeoPark, which is approximately 30 minutes away by car. Ensure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver beforehand.
