  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hithadhoo Island. Head northeast on the main road towards the ferry terminal. Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital. Turn right and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass through a few local neighborhoods, and after this stretch, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Maavah. Thingandavina is located on Maavah Island, so you will need to take a ferry from Hithadhoo to Maavah. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes and typically costs around 5 MVR. Once you arrive at Maavah, you can follow local signs to Thingandavina, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

  To reach Thingandavina via public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Hithadhoo. Look for buses heading towards the ferry terminal, which usually run every 30 minutes. The bus fare is about 10 MVR. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, you'll need to purchase a ticket for the ferry to Maavah, which costs around 5 MVR and takes about 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Maavah, you can either walk (about 10 minutes) to Thingandavina or inquire locally for any available transport options, such as bicycles or local taxis if you prefer not to walk.
