    Start at the Annapolis City Dock, located at 1 Dock St, Annapolis, MD. Head northwest on Dock St toward Main St. Continue on Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with West St. Turn left onto West St and walk for about 0.3 miles. At the intersection with Church Circle, continue straight onto State Circle. Follow State Circle around for about 0.2 miles until you reach the Maryland State House. From there, head west on State Circle toward College Ave. Take a right onto College Ave and continue for about 0.3 miles, then turn left onto Duke of Gloucester St. Walk for another 0.5 miles until you reach the bus stop at the corner of West St and Duke of Gloucester St. Catch the Annapolis Transit bus to the Annapolis Mall. Once at the mall, transfer to the Washington, DC bus service, which will take you to the nearest metro station. Take the metro to L'Enfant Plaza and then transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Disembark at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. From there, walk about 0.5 miles east on G St NW until you reach the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library located at 901 G St NW.

Once you arrive at the Annapolis Mall, transfer to the Washington, DC bus service, which provides routes to various metro stations. Take the bus to Greenbelt Metro Station. From Greenbelt, take the Green Line towards Branch Avenue and transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station.
