Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Annapolis, head towards Main Street and follow it northeast until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and continue walking until you reach the Annapolis Transit Center. From there, you can catch the Metro bus (Route 70) heading to Washington, DC. Ride the bus until you reach the stop for the National Museum of Women in the Arts, located at 1250 New York Ave NW. After disembarking, the museum will be just a short walk away.

• Public Transit

  Start at the City Dock in Annapolis and walk to the Annapolis Transit Center. From there, take the Maryland Transit Administration's commuter bus service (Commuter Bus Route 301) towards Washington, DC. This route will take you directly to the downtown area of Washington, D.C. Get off at the stop closest to 1250 New York Ave NW. The National Museum of Women in the Arts will be within walking distance from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Annapolis. Start at the City Dock and ride along the designated bike paths heading towards West Street. Follow West Street until you reach the Annapolis Transit Center, and then continue straight onto Route 50 towards Washington. Once you arrive at the National Mall area, navigate to 1250 New York Ave NW, where the museum is located. Ensure that you have a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
