From downtown Annapolis, head to the nearest bus stop located on West Street. Take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Bus Route 70 towards Washington, DC. The bus will take you directly to the New Carrollton Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Green Line Metro towards Branch Avenue. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Finally, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. The Ellipse is a short walk from there, located just southwest of the White House.
