    If you are in downtown Gloucester, head east on Main Street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and follow it until you reach the waterfront. From there, proceed to the Gloucester Ferry Terminal. Take a ferry to Salem, which is about a 40-minute ride. Once you arrive at Salem, disembark and walk straight onto Washington Square. Salem Common will be on your left.

    From downtown Gloucester, walk to the Cape Ann Transportation Authority bus stop located at the Main Street intersection. Board the bus heading to Salem. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Salem, get off at the stop closest to North Washington Square. Walk towards North Washington Square; Salem Common will be directly ahead of you.
