    From downtown Lowell, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Lowell City Hall' (located at 375 Merrimack St). Take the MBTA bus route 350 towards 'Alewife Station'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Alewife Station' stop. From there, transfer to the MBTA Alewife Subway Station and take the Red Line towards 'Ashmont'. After about 10 stops, disembark at 'Harvard Square' Station. Finally, walk about 15 minutes northeast along Massachusetts Ave and then take a right onto Mt Auburn St. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach Mount Auburn Cemetery at 580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138.

    Head to the Lowell train station located at 20 Tewksbury St. Board the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Lowell Line heading towards 'North Station' in Boston. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at 'North Station', transfer to the Green Line subway. Board the Green Line towards 'Copley' and get off at 'Copley Station'. From there, walk to the nearby 'Copley' subway station and take the Green Line towards 'Government Center'. At Government Center, switch to the Red Line towards 'Alewife'. After about 5 stops, get off at 'Harvard Square' Station. Walk 15 minutes northeast along Massachusetts Ave, turn right onto Mt Auburn St, and continue for another 5 minutes to reach Mount Auburn Cemetery.
