If you are starting from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center located at 246 Market Street, head east on Market Street towards Central Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Central Street. Turn right onto Central Street and walk for approximately 0.2 miles. You will then arrive at Shattuck Street. Turn left onto Shattuck Street, and the New England Quilt Museum will be on your left at 18 Shattuck St.

From the Lowell City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 375 Merrimack Street. Take the Lowell Transit Authority Bus #7 towards the 'UMass Lowell' route. Ride the bus for about 5 minutes and get off at the 'Shattuck Street' stop. After getting off, walk back a short distance to 18 Shattuck St, where the New England Quilt Museum is located.
