Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the town center of Edgartown, you can easily walk to the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse. Start at the Edgartown Town Hall, located at 70 Main Street. From Town Hall, head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with North Water Street. Turn left onto North Water Street. Continue walking down North Water Street for about 0.3 miles. You will pass by various shops, restaurants, and beautiful waterfront views. When you reach 121 North Water Street, you will find the lighthouse situated at the edge of the harbor, with a lovely view of the water.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Edgartown. Start your ride from the rental shop and head towards Main Street. Follow the same route as when walking: ride down Main Street until you reach North Water Street. Turn left onto North Water Street and continue for approximately 0.3 miles. The lighthouse will be located at 121 North Water Street, where you can lock your bike and enjoy the view.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you are coming from another part of Martha's Vineyard, you can take the Martha's Vineyard Bus Service to Edgartown. Check the bus schedule for routes that go to Edgartown. Once you arrive at the Edgartown bus terminal, which is located near the town center, you can either walk to the lighthouse or take a short bike ride. To walk, head southwest on Main Street, then turn left onto North Water Street and follow it to 121 North Water Street. This journey will take about 15-20 minutes on foot.
