    If you are driving from Playa del Carmen, head south on the Carretera Federal 307. Continue on this road for about 45 kilometers (28 miles) until you reach the town of Tulum. In Tulum, follow the signs for Sian Ka'an, turning left onto the road towards the reserve. The entrance to Reserva de la Biósfera Sian Ka'an is approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) down this road. Note that there is an entrance fee of around 50 MXN per person, which you will need to pay at the entrance.
