    If you are in Midtown Detroit, start by heading east on Mack Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with St. Antoine Street. Turn left onto St. Antoine Street and walk north until you reach East Jefferson Avenue. Turn right onto East Jefferson Avenue and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see signs directing you to the Detroit Riverwalk on your left. The Riverwalk entrance is located at 1340 Atwater St.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From Midtown Detroit, locate the nearest bus stop for the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT). Board the DDOT bus route 25 (Jefferson) at the stop on Mack Avenue. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at Atwater Street. After getting off, walk east for a short distance to reach the entrance of the Detroit Riverwalk at 1340 Atwater St. A single ride fare is $1.50.

  • Public Transit - People Mover

    Walk to the nearest Detroit People Mover station, which is at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Adams Street. Purchase a ticket for $0.75. Take the People Mover towards the Greektown station and get off at the Financial District station. From there, exit the station, walk south to Jefferson Avenue, and turn left. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to the Detroit Riverwalk at 1340 Atwater St.
