Walking
If you find yourself in downtown Marquette, start at the intersection of Washington Street and Third Street. Head east on Washington Street until you reach the waterfront at Lake Superior. From there, turn right (south) and follow the shoreline along the beautiful Lakefront Park. Continue walking south for about 0.5 miles until you see the Marquette Maritime Museum at 300 Lake Shore Blvd. It will be on your right, easily identifiable by its nautical-themed exhibits.

From the Marquette Area Public Library, take the Route 1 bus towards the Lakeview Arena. Once you reach the Lakeview Arena stop, disembark and walk towards Lake Shore Blvd. The Marquette Maritime Museum is located at 300 Lake Shore Blvd, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head east along Lake Shore Blvd, and you will see the museum on your left.

If you're near the Marquette Commons, start by heading west on Main Street until you reach the bike path that runs along the waterfront. Follow the bike path south, which will take you along the coast of Lake Superior. Continue on the bike path until you reach the Marquette Maritime Museum at 300 Lake Shore Blvd. The museum is located right off the bike path, making it a convenient stop.
