Getting There

  • Walking

    From the nearest bus stop at 29th Avenue NE & Johnson St NE, head east on Johnson St NE for about two blocks until you reach 27th Avenue NE. Turn right on 27th Avenue NE and continue south until you reach Sibley St NE. Turn left on Sibley St NE, and Boom Island Park will be on your right at 724 Sibley St NE. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

  • Biking

    If you're near the bike lanes on Washington Ave NE, head north on Washington Ave NE until you reach the intersection with Sibley St NE. Turn left onto Sibley St NE, and Boom Island Park will be about a block down on the left. This bike ride should take around 10 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    Take the Metro Transit bus route 10 from any nearby bus stop in Northeast Minneapolis heading towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop at 24th Avenue NE & Sibley St NE.
