Walking
Start from the Herceg Novi city center, near the main square. Head towards the waterfront promenade (Šetalište Pet Danica) and walk along the coast towards the south. Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal at Kamenari (around 30 minutes). From there, take the ferry to Lepetane. Once you arrive at Lepetane, walk to the bus stop and take a bus to Dubrovnik. The journey will take about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Bus
From Herceg Novi, head to the main bus station located near the city center. Take a bus that is heading towards Dubrovnik. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Dubrovnik bus station, head towards the Old Town. You can either walk (it’s about a 30-minute walk) or take a local bus. If walking, head towards the Pile Gate entrance to the Old Town, and from there, walk straight to Ul. Pred Dvorom 3, where the Rector's Palace is located.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Herceg Novi to Dubrovnik. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to take you to Ul. Pred Dvorom 3, Dubrovnik, where the Rector's Palace is located. This is a convenient option if you have luggage or prefer not to use public transportation.
